How to Anchor a Pergola or Gazebo
September 8, 2021
Anchoring a pergola or gazebo follows the same anchoring rules as anchoring sheds.
- Pentrator anchors, especially the PE36 & PE46-Hex, can be used as a replacement for concrete footings.
- Cabled anchors (Bullets and Arrowheads) can be used for holding when support is not needed. When using cabled anchors, you can anchor with a bolt at the bottom of the structure, use multiple anchors and run the cable across the rafters, as is often done with sheds
- If you have patio pavers that you need to anchor through, you can pre-drill the hole through the paver and backfill with colored polymeric sand.
